Galaxy S3 insurance help!!!

I have a Samsung galaxy s3 ...I have insurance on the phone....

I dropped my phone months ago and broke the screen...I finally got around to ordering a new one because I though it was just the glass, once I got the glass off I realized the screen underneath was broke and my friend told me that the phone wouldn't work if I tried putting a new screen on...if I take it to Verizon will my insurance cover this????

Since you got the glass off, your warranty/ insurance is probably void. I'd still take it to Verizon either way.

Welcome to Android Forums and hello.

It's going to be hard to answer this one as the claim would normally get handled be a Verizon salesman. They can be finicy in what they will do. Now when you tried to replace the screen did you try to put the new screen on? Did you break the digitizer during the process? If the display and digitizer worked before the screen was removed then I have seen them work with just a new outter glass.

I'm going to step off to check something real quick.
