I had this phone for 5 months now and within that period i'm having this sound issue..when you listen to music after a few mins the sound freezes and also everything that involves audio is silent even phone calls the only to restore back is to restart phone then its OK but after a while it gets back to the problem..I was running the stock 4.1.2 at that time so was thinking of an update so i did upgrade it to 4.3 but still having the audio problem,i've been doing what others suggested factory reset or wipe cache but this doesn't solve the issue..its really annoying how you missed messages and calls from your bosses if you know what i mean..in fact while i'm doing this post i just finished resetting again my phone..

I've been searching around goggling this issue it seems i'm not the only one having this problem but i failed to look for solutions to this issue so please if you know something i would be very pleased if you may share how to solve it..thank a lot

Hello again there nikki!

I was thinking about your dilemma and was curious...

When the audio gets muted or whatever, are all the volume settings going down to zero?
Or are all the volume settings the same, but the speaker does not function?

In other words, I'm wondering if the speaker is going out or all the volume levels drop on their own....does that make sense?? :)

nope volume settings doesn't change at all, its just the volume really that gets muted and its very often like last night i had to reboot the device 3x..i'm really wondering if this is a software problem or hardware issue like i said i already updated this from 4.1.2 to 4.3 and still having this problem..

Hmmmm, you said you have factory reset also and that does not help, correct?

Just wondering if, when you factory reset, do all your apps auto download from google?
The reason I ask, is perhaps an app is the cause of this.....perhaps an volume control app?
Just a thought:)
