Help Galaxy s3 mini Sudden Death

My Galaxy s3 mini is 5 days old and it ran out of power last night. I charged it and when I attempted to turn it back on 10 minutes later nothing happened. I've tried everything and am convinced it's sudden death syndrome. Is there anything i can do? i tried to hard reset but it doesn't work. Thanks

Charging it for 10 minutes will give it just about enough power to turn on and kill the battery. Plug the charger on and leave it alone for at least 24 hours, then see if it turns on.

Plug it in, and wait for the animation of charging to appear. After that leave it alone until it charges to 100%.
