Help Galaxy S3 muted microphone or not transmitting ?

Hi I wonder if anyone can help.
My Galaxy S3 microphone doesn't seem to be working properly .
When i make a call the receiving phone cannot hear me but i hear my voice in my earpiece.
I have reset the phone to factory setting but still the same.
any thoughts please?

Have you looked at the adapt a sound feature or personalize call sound under phone settings. I found that when I personalized the call sound the call was garbled in my end. Might be the headset too...

Do you mean the Galaxy Note 3? Or the Galaxy S3? If you mean the S3, I can forward this post to the correct forums, so you can get the best help possible.
