Galaxy S3 noob

[racer88]

Hi all,

I had a Blackberry Storm for five years... yeah... ancient for a phone. I never really used it as a smart phone because it was SLOW and cumbersome. Finally, the touch screen went wonky, and it was time to get a new phone.

I did my research online, and all roads pointed to the GS3. I've had it for about a week, and holy cow! What a great phone! I've gone from a pedal car to a Ferrari!

I just went through all 14 pages of the "Coolest feature of the S3" thread and learned a lot.

This forum has already proven to be a great resource. I expect it will be my "go-to" source for all things Android and GS3.

Hey racer88. Congrats on the new S3. There are a lot of people just like you.. wow what a phone! I too had a BB phone though it was retired while is still had a bit of value. It was a solid build but certainly a ways off of the leading edge.. especially now. I bet you are having some kind of fun. Thanks for using these forums and it's great to hear they are being of value.

Thanks for the welcome. I've never seen a cell phone as much more than a basic utilitarian tool (mostly to make and take calls). But, the GS3 is an amazing device that I will be using for all sorts of things.
