Galaxy S3 predictive text

I am using the free trial of SwiftKey 3. Awesome! The Samsung predictive was laughable....I don't think it EVER got ANYTHING even close to right....

I was using the gingerbread keyboard from the play store, but it was not good at predicting. I wasn't sure I would like Swiftkey, but thought I would try it for the free trial, I really like how accurate the predicting is, I am a terrible typist and need all the help I can get. I was getting close to the 30 days so I was trying to decide whether to pay 3.99 for it, when I read on another thread about the play store sale going on. So I went looking for other things and just happened to see Swiftkey 3 for $.99, so I snapped it up. This was just a few minutes ago, but not sure how long it will be on sale. I am not saying it is the greatest keyboard out there, but for me it was definitely worth 99 cents.:D

I turned off the predictive text, and it stopped my ability to Swipe/Trace! I want to be able to Swipe, but the words that come up with the predictions are all wrong many times.

Does Swift Key 3 allow you to swipe/trace on the keyboard?

When I start to install SwiftKey 3 (which I learned about in this forum), I get a message that endabling the keyboard will cause collection "of all of the text you enter, except passwords, including personal data and credit card numbers." Seems like that could be a problem. Have others encountered and considered this message?

Also, my GS3 works fine in areas with strong cell and wifi, but terrible in areas with moderate to weak coverage. That is, if cell coverage is 4G with one bar, or 3G/no G, it often won't connect calls. Similarly, in areas where my other devices find adequate cell or wifi signal, my GS3 doesn't. It also performs very poorly (drops calls often) when 4G shifts to 3G. Is anyone else having these problems or did I just get a lemon?

That's a standard warning. It'll pop up anytime you try to load a third party keyboard. If there was a problem with SwiftKey, we would have heard about it by now. It's a great keyboard. I got it as the free app of the day and loved it so much I paid for it on the play store just to support the dev.

SwiftKey 3 has been the most useful purchase I've made in terms of usability. I chose to allow my data to be shared with them as it's used to constantly update and improve accuracy and prediction algorithms. 99

Unfortunately, turning off the predictive text also turns off spell check. :( I'm still in my "trial" period with this phone. I may be headed back to my carrier for an iPhone 5. Trying to give myself enough time to get used to it.
