Can you get into recovery mode?

No, that's all I get to then it powers off.
Wondering if your battery is failing. Quite possible, and sorry if anything was mentioned in the video for it, I can't hear any sound on my computer at the moment

Can it even power on without being attached to a charger?

I have tried a wall charger and on my computer. Nothing seems to work. Tomorrow I am going to get a battery only charger and see if that works. Otherwise it could be a hardware problem.
