Help Galaxy S3 Replacement Screen

I looked around the internet for cost-efficient ways to fixed my cracked Galaxy S3 screen and found that you can buy a replacement screen and DIY. To anyone who has done this: Is it easy and is it worth saving the money?

There are some YouTube videos showing how to do it. It looks like a major pain in the rear! I'd watch a few and decide for yourself if it's worth trying.
