Galaxy S3: S-Voice, live wallpapers and more!

If you're getting a Galaxy S3 and can't wait or just want to try out some of the apps, wallpapers etc, a lot of it has now been posted on XDA.

S-Voice: [APP]S-Voice - xda-developers

S-Suggest: [App] S Suggest from Galaxy S3 - xda-developers

Flipboard: [APP] Flipboard for Android - xda-developers

Wallpapers and ringtones: Galaxy S3 LiveWallpaper/AudioPack(Ringtones,UI,Notification)/Wallpapers For Galaxy S2 - xda-developers

Sorry if this was already posted, I didn't see another thread!

Been trying out S Voice and it seems to work well, voice recognition is good and it has a lot more commands than Vlingo :)

The drop/ripple live wallpaper/lockscreen thing is fake, and the other 2 live wallpapers are real, but I think you need ICS to run them.

Flipboard works, didn't bother with the S-Stuff though.

Works pretty well for a fake, it has the ripple effect where you tap :p

Thanks mattye! :D

Works great on my phone with SPBShell 3D. Love that ripple effect when you touch the screen. Lets see how much battery it gobbles up though.

Can't seem to install the voicetalk.apk though.

The warning about it being a fake appears when you try to configure the wallpaper, but as far as I can see it works absolutely fine, it ripples as expected.

I'm using the Deep Sea live wallpaper now instead, love it :D

I installed voicetalk.apk as a normal app, but some on XDA reported that it didn't work doing it that way but they had success by copying it to data/app and rebooting :)

S-Voice is a bit hit-and-miss. Lacks the voice bit on my phone and is slower than using Voice Actions or Jeannie.

EDIT Just read your post, here.

Yeah they tend to be better, but unfortunately they don't open up when using the command button on a Bluetooth headset. S voice doesn't remember memos (try "memo buy milk" followed by "list memos") and there's a few other bugs too. What it does do though, it does good!
