Help Galaxy S3 - Wallpaper as slideshow

WHP3204

Lurker
Just got the Samsung Galaxy S3 from Verizon (running Android 4.0). When I first set up the wallpaper, there were options to select multiple photos and different formats for a slideshow-type background. It was pretty cool. However, when I went in to change some of the photos, I only had options to select a single photo (one for home or one for lock screen), crop it and save it.

I can't see how to get back to the option for a slideshow-type presentation. As far as I know, this is not a "Live Wallpaper" option, but maybe I am wrong.

Anyone know what I am describing and can help?

Greetings WHP3204,

Welcome to the forums.

I think what your talking about is a live wallpaper. Under the live wallpaper settings, there is a setting called photo wall.

In there you can select...

1. The photos you wish to use.

2. The type of layout ..single, 3 or mosaic

3. The speed of the slide show.

Again, I think this is what your looking for.

Hope this helps

Well, TMML, you are awesome (in figuring out what I meant) and I am pretty stupid for not looking at Live Wallpaper. I just assumed (yeah, we know what that does) that it was animated wallpapers - not something configurable like that.

Thank you very much for showing me the errors of my ways!

Ok, I know this post is kind of old, and I'm stubborn for really asking anyway, but has anyone seen (or know a way to get) that same wallpaper on the s5? I grew very used to that photo wall, and can not for the life of me find one as good on play store.

Any help wound be awesome.
