I wouldn't run a Celeron myself, but I guess they 'work' for the budget types.

The point being you can get hardware for not much extra cost that's a lot more productive and versatile. I've never bought into the chromebook idea, same as netbooks. Very limited because they are do cheap and once you've had it a week, you realise the things you can't do and start looking for a replacement. Na thanks, I'll skip the hassle and get something that'll last me years thank you.

My main device is a cheap Gateway laptop. I think it was around $550 when I bought it a few years ago. Basically fills all my needs, especially having a larger screen. :)

Still talking computer hardware of course :D

My main laptop is a sammy 511 or something, it's pretty much an updated spec of the meaty 17" HP I still have, but for half the price and minus the bluray drive. It still runs good, so does the HP for that matter, and both have dedicated graphics 1GB. Evan my new donkey dell E6410 was a bargin at $450

I love my netbook. It's cheap and a workhorse, but I kind of want to upgrade to something more beautiful aesthetically.

If I had an award, you'd earn it with that statement. "Most pointless reason to upgrade" seriously? Aesthetics? *facepalm*
