Galaxy S4 5.0.1 RAM usage Minimization

I need help minimizing the RAM being used on my Sprint Galaxy S4 (SPH-L720T) I'm running the most recent 5.0.1 I have developer settings enabled with Close Apps As Soon As You Leave It option enabled along with background processes limited to 2 but my RAM is still around 1.09 GB being used even after I turn my phone on for the first time, I'm unrooted ATM but I can root it if needed I have ODIN along with my 5.0.1 update on my Laptop plus Samsung Smart Switch I also need to know the ABSOLUTE BEST rooting software because the One Click PC Version of Kingo Root bricked my phone that's why I have ODIN, etc. But is like to lower my RAM usage a considerable amount because I don't use my phone very often and I'm sure that's a good portion of my battery usage can I disable auto start apps, etc. Or is there a good app to control my RAM properly I want my phone to stay as fast as it is now so in other words I dont want apps trying to open in the background making my phone skip like crazy because my RAM is limited please help or is my request not possible thanks anyone who responds!!!!!

Your RAM is perfectly OK, Android 5.0 knows how to manage the RAM itself very efficiently.

Having more free RAM doesn't always speed up your phone, it could even make your phone run slower if you often close the apps that are used frequently.

Thanks alot for your response!!! I just wanted to lower battery consumption mainly because I can literally leave my phone sitting there on 100% and not touch it overnight and it be on like 80% 8 or 9 hours later and the only reason that irritates me is because 90% of the phones I've previously owned stayed at 100 or dropped to 97 or 98 MAYBE, and when I check the RAM it's always way up which I also hate to see for some reason, but I just want to prevent pretty much every single app on my phone to be closed forever unless I need it at that very moment, I don't want to force RAM to a limit because I want it to run like a brand new phone not all laggy but I need help with that lol

The S4 is coming up to it's fourth birthday early next year. :) If you've been using it for a few years, have you ever factory reset it during that time? If you haven't, it might benefit from it, which would bring it to factory state. Rather than trying to use "free" spyware/adware task killers or whatever.

I had to completely wipe it about a week ago bc Kingo Root bricked it so I installed 5.0.1 using ODIN and it made me go through setup, redownload apps, etc. I also reset it a few months ago when I got it from my brother in law, it does usually help alot actually but I have nearly 400 songs that I try to keep on my SD card, pictures I usually delete everything but backup what I want to keep to Google Drive, so I normally keep it pretty clean but the battery dies pretty quick when I'm using it if the screen is on even at the lowest brightness but my last phone had around an 800Mah larger battery so I guess I'm being unfair but the screen was 6" compared to whatever size this is but I want to work on getting a much larger extended battery for it

You are actually facing a simple issue, your phone's battery is aging and can't keep good charge, freeing the RAM doesn't help much, it's like losing some weight to get a little better MPG with your car.

Good news is that the battery is removable and a new battery can be had for $10 shipped.

I have 2 different batteries bc I have a SCH-L720 with a bad screen and LCD plus my L720T, they both drain about the same I guess but then again they're both factory batteries, thanks for the response!
