Help Galaxy S4 Album Art

Weird Issue....I use WMP to synch my music to my phone and tried Samsung Kies with some success....When I synch my music with WMP all the album art is there, however when I go to listen on my phone, there's nothing there. I like to have album art as I am really OCD about it.

Any help is apprecaited.

WMP has an additional method of displaying cover art that Android does not. It can be embedded or it can be a separate image file. Probably the easiest way to resolve is by using the free iTag app.

As said in earlier reply, some programs simply cache the art covers to their own directory and display them upon playback. VLC for example, keep covers in its on folders, so often when you update your audio's art, it won't reflect in VLC upon playback.

There are also few versions of mp3's ID3 tags, not all compatible across different players.

I use Mp3tag, a very nice and free program which allow you to properly name, tag and apply art to your audio file (even video files). It also allow to include within your mp3, a non sync lyrics, which you can display on your S4 with simple tap on the art cover while playing the file. And mp3Tag saves your tags in all versions at once, so you will have cross compatible tags for all the players.

Now, it does seem like S4 caches some of the arts as well, so often I have to clear the App data, to reflect the changes. But ever since I have been using mp3Tag, all my covers are in order :)

check it out:
Mp3tag - the universal Tag Editor (ID3v2, MP4, OGG, FLAC, ...)
