Galaxy s4 can't put pics to sd card

I have a galaxy s4 and I can't put pics to sd card as when I go to my files they are gone? Can't delete pics from google photos, or the gallery. Have little space on phone left. Help help help. No idea what to do next. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

Which way are you trying to move the pics? Have you formatted and mounted the card?

Card is in. Has been for a while. Does not even give me the option to move them.?
