Help Galaxy S4 question

Hi,

I've recently got a Samsung Galaxy S4 and I'm looking to load a stock version of android onto it..

Can somebody please help identify what firmware I need?

My phone is this -

PDA - I9505XXUFNC9
Baseband - M919UVUFNB4
CSC - I9505XXUFNC9

I believe I can load the following firmware onto the phone (Unless I've misunderstood what the process..)

Model GT-I9505
Model name GALAXY S4 LTE
Country United Kingdom (O2)
Version Android 5.0.1
Changelist 3996895
Build date Wed, 25 Feb 2015 15:44:46 +0000
Product code O2U
PDA I9505XXUHOB7
CSC I9505O2UHOC2

Hey,
I've tried applying the update via Odin but it fails once the firmware starts applying. I think my device might be write enabled....

How do I change this?

Thanks
Daniel

You currently have unbranded Russian firmware on your device and modem for a different model. I would look for an unbranded (BTU) rom and flash that (I9505XXUHOB7).

My phone was also on T mobile in the US originally...

If it was originally bought in the US on T-Mobile then it's probably an SGH-M919 rather than a GT-i9505. Check Settings > More > About device > Model number to verify.

will this affect which firmware I can load?

I don't think so, as both variants use the same SOC (SD600). The M919's radio hardware doesn't support the 900MHz HSPA+ and the 800MHz & 1800MHz LTE bands commonly used in Europe however, and the firmware won't change this.
