Galaxy S4 slowing down after 32GB Sd card

Hi,

I have Galaxy S4 i9500, i recently bought a 32GB class 10 Samsung SD card (Samsung MicroSDHC 32 GB Class 10 Evo). I was expecting to get a better performance, however the opposite happened, my phone starts to respond very slowly, many applications started to hang e.g. WhatsApp, Launcher, MusicPlayer etc. To test if it was due to SD card only, i removed the SD card and inserted my old 8GB sd card and with that phone started to work just fine and smooth again.

So is this normal behavior that maybe 32G card is too heavy for the phone or could it be that SD card was defected.

Thanks,

Rohit

Good fakes pass all but the most critical visual checks; card, packaging, everything but the chip inside looks just like the real thing.

If you have a PC and suitable reader you can easily test the card - Google is your friend for how to do this. A card fault is certainly possible but a fake is much more likely to be the culprit.

PS: "online" covers a rather large business sector :-)
Who did you actually buy it from?

Hi there, rohit_4739.

I've moved this to the Galaxy S4 board because it may be a device-specific issue. If so, other owners may be able to help. We can always move this again if need be! :)
