Galaxy s5 - best way to upgrade firmware

I did have another thread with what has been disguised as a heinze 57 phone . Stuck on 5.0
I've now had this changed although it was a French phone
All OK
Running 6.1
Wondering if there is any other update I can apply ?
Also phone info states as original

Since the Galaxy S5 is no longer supported by Samsung, the latest stock Samsung firmware is Android 6.0.1. However.you can flash the unbranded, non carrier, version of Android 6.0.1 for the United Kingdom by using the Odin PC suite. If you want later Android ROM, you will need something like Lineage that I linked you to in your previous thread.

Flashing stock Samsung firmware will cause you to lose root.

As I mentioned above and in your previous thread... Lineage... as it is still supported with bug fixes and Android Security updates and is close to stock Android

I use Lineage on the Galaxy S2 & S5 and OnePlus 3. The build I linked you to is suitable for all, "KLTE", models as shown, if you scroll down, on the righthand side of the download page...

Another issue I've just noticed .
Tried to install a banking app
Santander
Couldn't log in as device rooted
Is it possible to unroot now I've got the phone up and running etc with the unbranded firmware ?
