Help Galaxy S5 Default Camera?

Hey, all!

I've recently started using Google Camera. The app is awesome. Automatically backs up all pictures, and gets the most out of my camera. Perfect.

Now, is there any way to change the default camera app that launches from the lock screen? I've changed the default for taking contact photos and such, but accessing it from the lock screen would be all kinds of helpful.

I'm running on a Virgin Mobile Galaxy S5 with the latest version of Lollipop.

Thank you!

I was thinking you could turn OFF the native camera app, then a choice for the replacement would be necessary.

good question, but a quick look does not offer that option for us. All the buttons we need to use are greyed out.

Looked at Nova Prime to see if any help there, and no Lockscreen options for that there either.

What I have done is to place Google's camera on the main Homescreen, so that I can just tap the Home Button and it is there in front of me.

Still, too much lost time for that "gotta grab a picture now moment"
