I just purchased the new Galaxy s5 from best buy. It's verizon. I'm trying to share photos and other things via NFC. My dad has a Nokia Luma 920 and whenever I try to pair my phone with his it will pair for about 5 seconds and then disconnect and then he would pair it again and it would disconnect for 5 seconds and then disconnect again and repeat. I have S Beam and Android Beam turned on. Bluetooth and everything is on and it still won't let me share pics and otherthings.

The other devices need to have their NFC turned on also if not you wont be able to transfer anything . so just enable NFC on all the other devices post back if any other android device problems and welcome to the forums.

How about reboot both devices and retry the exchange again
I tried the reboot and it still didn't work. Does it have something to do with the fact that on the Windows phone it would only be conected via Bluetooth for about five seconds and then disconnect. But on my galaxy s5 it says paired and it's not doing what it does o the windows phone.
