Galaxy S5 S-View + QI

I'm not familiar with that case except by reading of it.

Look at this Qi charger. I would think that it would work with that case.
Mouse over the pictures they include, very accurate photos of how it looks in my phone.

* Qi Standard Wireless Charger kit 'mine'

only $18.99 to try it.

Thanks for the reply. I already have all the kit I need (I've been using QI for a while). The problem is with how the pins work. I've taken a pic, and done a basic drawing. Art isn't my strong point haha

The green ones are required for the QI charger, while the red ones are required for the case "window view" to work properly.

Here is the QI receiver I've got (but I don't think it'd make a difference, as they'll all use the same connections) - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00F3J2KJW/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

For some reason, one of the connectors "shares" its slot with both. Thus, you can't actually put both in at the same time! You would think, having 1 for "power" stuff, and another for the s-view would make sense - then just add an additional couple of connectors for QI enabled cases (i.e those that are QI enabled as standard)

I'm wondering if I'm gonna have to send it back, as its no use to my like this :/

Okay, I have an electronics background and to me, the single contact you show with a Green and Red line must be a Ground Point (common circuit) for both the charger and the S View case.

I can't see an easy fix for you on that one.

Using a Soldering Iron and tiny kevlar insulated wires to hook up the Qi charger will void the warranty the instant the Soldering Iron touches the charging contacts.

Yeah, thats what I was worried about :( You would have thought that if they were expecting that contact to be used on potentially 2 things - they would just have made 2 damn contacts that do the same thing! (for the sake of fractions of a penny)
