Help Galaxy S5 wifi problems

Recently my S5 has started having problems staying connected to wifi networks. It's constantly dropping and reconnecting. When it's not connected, it says "temporarily avoiding poor connection" but the network has full signal and no other devices are having problems staying connected. It's done this on 2 different networks and I've restarted the phone several times, tried forgetting and reconnecting to the networks, but same thing. I checked for updates in case there were any system updates that might fix it, and the Lollipop update was available. Since updating to Lollipop things have not changed. I haven't reset my phone yet, that was the next thing I was going to try but thought I'd stop by here to see if anyone has any other suggestions first.
This is killing my battery life!

Sorry man but I think it's either something a reset would fix or its a hardware problem (send for warranty repair).
Wait n see what the others suggest though

That's what I figured. I'll give it another day just in case anyone else has suggestions. Still within warranty if I do have to go that route, but hopefully a reset will be fix it if not something else. Thanks.
