Help Galaxy S6 Edge bluetooth files lost

BradZ_09

Lurker
Hi guys, really need some help. I've recently upgraded from an S5 to an S6 edge and i just tried transferring a few photos between them via bluetooth. Most of them came through but a few didn't and I can't find them on either phone!

Tried searching for LOST.dir but it seems the S6 has internal memory only so its nowhere to be found. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

It would be worth noting the photos were first exported from a photo locker app. I'm unsure if they even made it from there into the S5 gallery. All the rest are there though. Thanks.

Connect your phone to a PC and select the device in Windows Explorer and do search entering *.jpg in the search bar. If they are on the device, that should find them

I'll give it a go.
I've heard sometimes these photo lockers are good at making photos dissappear completely so if they have, what are my chances of getting them back?

On internal storage virtually zilch from what I can understand. There are some paid for programs that state they can recover data but I've heard of no success stories. Generally you can try before you buy

I don't know which phone deleted them though, they were supposedly bluetoothed across but then they had dissappeared from both devices.

But they were exported out of the locker app successfully and were sitting in the s5 gallery.

Dunno what to do now
