Help Galaxy S6 email not working

My email was working fine until my yahoo account made me change my password. I couldn't find where to change it on the phone so I deleted the account and tried to add my account back on. Now it says...Unable to set up account. Then I am sure you know the rest. I have tried to do all the things I have seen suggested on here. I have also done a force stop and checked my settings on both the phone and the email. I have restarted the phone. It is all a no go. I have had the phone for a year. I know it does updates, it makes me wonder if that caused sponge issues.

Are you using the Android default email app that came with your S6? Or did you install the Yahoo email app from Google Play?
You mentioned doing a 'Force stop' of the app but did you also use the 'Clear data' button. That will clear the app's cache and any previous app settings. Now start up your email app and it should start up like in a state when it was originally installed. Quitting the app or doing a restart of your S6 won't delete any previous stored settings, for some situations you need to manually do this yourself.
