Help galaxy s6 lockscreen notifications

Hi guys I was just wondering if someone could help me out with my galaxy s6, basically this is really bugging me, does anyone know if there's a way to get the screen to light up when you have a notification, so let's say I'm watching TV and my phone is next to me when I want the screen to light up on its own instead of having to turn it on, this is a big help to me especially if my phone is ever on silent. Check out the app Light Flow. If I remember rightly it has the option to wake the screen for a given app's notification

Thanks I will do you I take it that on the standard settings on the device there is no way to set this option?

On a Samsung, I don't know sorry (unless there's a setting in individual apps like the sms app for it)
