Galaxy S6 notification

Guest
After searching everywhere, I noticed that this thing hasn't been addressed. When you swipe down and bring up your notification area (containing the toggles, brightness settings, and notification banners from various apps), how do you minimize an app banner? For example, if you get an email and you use gmail, you'll get a banner with a preview to that message. If you press, hold, and pull down that banner, the banner expands, revealing more content. How do you undo that action and minimize the banner? For the S4, this is achieved by pressing, holding, sliding down slightly, then pulling up. This doesn't work for the S6. By experimentation, the only way I can do this is by using two fingers. This is problematic because both fingers must be on contact with the screen simultaneously and you have to release both off the screen at the same time, otherwise, it'll open the app if you screw up. There must be a better way to do this.
