Help Galaxy S7 - Charging problem

My Galaxy S7 stopped charging. Charging cable is not recognized.
This is not a cable or charger failure as they were checked with other devices.
Other than that everything works fine.
I saw message "Moisture detected. Check if port is dry" only once.
But this is not my case as it happened at home during normal use.

Is there any reset for this problem?

The charging port can build up moisture over time, so it could be a problem that has happened over time rather than a 1 time "dropping in toilet" kind of issue.

Here is something that has worked for others:

1. Get a Q-Tip and wipe charging port clean
2. Dip another Q-Tip in rubbing alcohol
3. Wipe charging port again with wet Q-Tip
4. Let it dry for at least an hour

If your phone still has battery, do this with the battery off.

Let us know if it works!

GS7 doesn't have a removable battery, so that's not an option. unless you mean powered off...

Same situation as my previous phone. I pressed the connector to one side of the port(tried different directions) and it recognized. But once the cable or phone moves, it failed to recognize again. The port got even looser afer this. Don't recommend this unless for urgency cable connection.
You can go to the service center to change a new port.
Or, GS7 is Qi-enabled. It can be charged wirelessly with a wireless charger.

Just twice in almost 9 months of use I have been unable to charge my S7 and got the moisture detected in port message... once after a longish phone chat and recently when my hands may have been slightly damp when I answered a call but I really don't think I could have really got any significant moisture in port...
Anyway I found both times just simply restarting my phone cleared the error and my phone immediatly started to charge and has done every other time.
