Hello,
My new Samsung phone is dialing local numbers to people I don't know who are not in my contact list, and then hanging up. The calls don't show up in the log. I use a lock screen, so there's no butt dialing going on. And I have good security on the phone. It seems to happen a few hours after I call voicemail. Today it also happened to my husband, who hadn't even used his phone.
It's pretty strange to be having people call asking why they were called. My carrier (Verizon) doesn't see the activity in their records, and suggested our numbers are being spoofed and offered to give us new ones. But I never had any problem until after we got these new phones several weeks ago, and can't help but think there's a connection to the phones, and there might be a way to track and stop it.
Does anyone else here have this problem? I know I'm not alone, because I've seen other accounts similar to mine, but I haven't seen any solutions.
