Suddenly, my S8 will beep 3 times when I power it up. It only happens at powerup.

was it updated recently? i doubt it since it is an s8. samsung usually gets 2 or 3 major updates and that is it as the move on to their next flagship phone. but it is still possible that some phones could get an update.
