Studies have shown that reading your smartphone before bed couldn't interfere with your bodies natural ability to fall asleep.
To help combat this, the Galaxy S8 has a feature that's very similar to iPhone's Night Shift mode. It's called Blue Light Filter and you can quickly turn it off/on by tapping the button in your Quick Settings (pull down twice on the notification bar).
It's also possible to have Blue Light Filter activate automatically according to the time or at sundown. You can even adjust the intensity of the filter to better match the ambient lighting in your home. Here's how:

- Open the Settings app
- Tap on Display
- Select Blue light filter
- Select Turn on as scheduled
- Choose either Sunset to sunrise (need location permission), or create your own Custom schedule
