The Galaxy S8 comes standard with 64GB of storage in the US. While this sounds like a lot of space, recording 4K UHD video or downloading music can quickly eat up this space.
Thankfully the Galaxy S8 accepts micro SD cards up to 256GB in size and there are plenty affordable options available on the market. I recommend only using only UHS-1 U3 Class 10 SD cards for best results (this SanDisk 64GB micro SD card can be found on Amazon for $30.95).
To insert an SD card, just follow these steps:

To insert an SD card, just follow these steps:
- Insert the SIM removal tool or small paper clip into the tray at the top of the phone
- Press firmly until the tray pops out slightly and remove the tray with your fingers
- Snap SD card into place
- Reinsert tray into the device and make sure it's inside all the way
