Galaxy SIII mute override

Hey everyone!

So I had a situation this morning in which I was supposed to wake up and I did but I fell back asleep. I received multiple phone calls that I did not hear because the phone was on mute.
Is there a way to set certain contacts to be able to override the mute function? Or is there a way to schedule mute to turn off for a certain period of time?

On my SGS3 Mini, there's a blocking mode in settings.

You look to be able to set mutes times and a list of allowed contacts in there. It looks as though when blocking mode is active, unless a contact has been added to the allowed list, all other calls, notifications etc are muted.

Given your handset is better specced than mine, I presume it has similar options?
