Help Galaxy Tab 2 Battery Problem

I bought a Galaxy Tab 2 yesterday and love it!
However I am having some real trouble with the battery.
It is currently 79% with nothing running in the background,power saving mode on,and it says that it's only going to run for 4 more hours!
Is there something I'm doing wrong?

I've got the same tablet and would get the same out of my battery. I get about 5 hours on a full charge..

Best to only charge battery with the tablet turned off, which I routinely do at about 75%.
