Help galaxy tab 2 touch sound unchecked but still makes sound when typing

galaxy tab 2 touch sound unchecked but still makes sound when typing. Just purchased yesterday. Settings definitely has touch sounds unchecked but keyboard still clicking. Not newbie but not one who roots. Thanks

Go to Settings, Language and input, click on the icon next to your keyboard and uncheck Keytap sounds.
