Can you please help me I use the T memo app on my tablet i could put a heading on each memo to show the contents even when locked I recently had an update for my tablet and now the headings will only show when each memo is unlocked how can I change this or can i go back to the old way

Sorry for the slow reply, this site is pretty dead for the gtab, though as a whole there's a huge community for support.

You could try downgrading your firmware or ask over at xda if someone has the old apk. Both are pretty complicated fixes for that issue if you haven't flashed firmware or rooted before.

If you want I can help but I need more info.

Open the settings and scroll down to about tablet. Let me know what model you have.

Alternativly you can tell me what features your tab has.

I need:
Screen size?
Do you have an infrared blaster (you'd have Peel Remote app)?
Do you have 3g?
Do you have 4g?
If you have 3g or 4g what provider do you have your data plan with?

I need this info because there are eight different tab 2 variants.
One is exclusively from at&t
One exclusively Verizon.
Three are ten inch screens.
Three are seven inch screens.

Ok, here's a thread to return to full factory stock.

Simply find your country in the first post and follow directions (I think in second post).
You will need a pc and an easy to use program called Odin.

If you need a later firmware I can find that. This should take you back to the 4.0 system, as your tab came out of the box.
I can find 4.1 if you prefer.

Oh, backup your internal sd, as I think it calls for a factory reset which will make you loose your data. This is only because you are downgrading, when upgrading you won't loose any data so if you go up to 4.1 you won't have to wipe.

if you don't want to jump right into downgrading you can try rooting your tablet and asking for a copy of the old memo app and does to replace your current one, but I can't guarantee it will work and it may automatically update its self on you.

Im confused with the replies on this thread.
Here a simple solution
Visit google play store and download another memo app instead of messing up with the firmware.
My suggestion is use "Google Keep".

That wasn't the question though. He asked how to go back and retrieve a specific app or system.

I've never had an issue flashing this tablet thanks to mobile Odin and common sense and have never "messed up" My firmware.
