Help Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 SM-211 3G draining prepaid minutes.

Hi Guys I have a friend who would like to know how he can stop the Tab from draining its minutes he prepaid for the phone when he even off the GPRS button.

He told me that even when he is not navigating on the internet the minutes balance appears ZERO after a few minutes.

Is there another setup to make besides powering off the GPRS button up there on Notifications bar?

Thanks your help will be very grateful.
 
Airplane mode. If it still uses minutes when all radios are off, either something in the tab is working wrong, or his carrier is deducting minutes he's not using.
