galaxy tab/nexus 7

Hi everyone. Some advice is needed please! I know there are dedicated forums for these products but i don't want any biased advice. Basically i need to decide on either a Samsung galaxy tab 2 or a Google nexus 7. Anyone here got these devices? What are your thoughts guys?

I prefer Nexus 7.

But I'd rather go for a Note 10.1 or Note II,

At the moment Im more towards the nexus 7. Still thinking long and hard about it though. Are there any benefits of the Samsung except having an SD slot? I know the nexus will get android updates as soon as they are available..
