I just bought the Tab S 10.5 wifi version, and am looking for app suggestions, I do want to use the tablet to read eBooks and possibly comics, I also want to game* as well as listen to music & watch movies.

* Anyone know a good Bluetooth game pad for the games that play better with one than without?

Hello and welcome to the forums. Merry x-mas to you . I see you got the galaxy tab s . can I ask how do you feel about it . me I love mines . now far as game apps . you want to download the Google play game app. I play a lot games such as : tetras pacman and read books I order through the play store

I haven't really used it much, just here & there, basically just been updating the built-in apps as they become available. Won't really use it until I get it in an OtterBox Defender, which is next to impossible to find as all the electronic stores rather sell cases mainly for crapple products.

Try eBay or Amazon I found a white one with a wireless keyboard just 25.00 keyboard is Bluetooth and very stylish

Personally A few Must have apps for me are as follows

Airdroid - Uses Wifi to give computer access to phone. A very excellent phone manager
QuickPic - A great replacement for the default gallery app.
AndroidForums - A great way to keep up with the greatest forum on earth :D
Es FileExplorer - Every device should have a file explorer and this is my fav.

There are more to my list but they are mostly Root Apps. These I think you will find most useful

Enjoy your device :)

EDIT: I did forget an app that I use to help store my photo's to the cloud its my photobucket app. As soon as I take a picture the app is already backing it up to the cloud. Even if you don't use photobucket I would recommend a cloud account with an app that can upload your photos.

I am asking for apps for my tablet & not phone -- the phone is rooted, the tablet is not for obvious reasons -- so I still may check out AirDroid.

I've been using QuickPic for about 3 years on my various Android phones I've had.

ESFE is used on my phone.

I use Comicrack for my eComics. It allows me to manage them on a PC and sync them to the tab in arranged reading lists and correct order. Great if you read huge story arcs spanning several titles.

Get xbmc-kodi to watch movies and stream music if you like . it does eat up power and you can stream new movies for kids and a few xxxxxx if you like some people :oops::eek:

Just set up the xbmc app and stream movies and live TV while at work . (PLEASE DON'T TELL MY BOSS WE WATCH movies IN OUR FEE TIME HE WILL KILL ME AND ALSO TERMINATE)
