Help Galaxy Tab2 10.1 trouble

After the battery ran low, like to 4% it will not turn back on. The charging image will show up but the tab will not actually power up. The battery indicator comes on for a second shows charging bar moving to slightly less than half then screen goes blank. Will not turn on plugged in or not. Tried a master reset using up volume and power button but that wouldn't even work.

Mine when plugged in kept cycling between the circle, battery charging icon at 0% then black. If left plugged in all night, it would charge.

I have tried everything except disconnecting the battery.

The fix: while plugged in hold the power button and home button at the same time until it turns on. Worked great for me.
