My galaxy Y works perfectly in my home network, but when I try it in my school network I can only access the internet through the default browser. I can't use Opera, google play, maps or ay other app through that wifi.
The interesting thing is with the school network I have to make proxy configurations if I go through my laptop. So I'm wondering if I have to do some thing like set proxy in the apps and if so how come it works with the default browser
I have used the advanced wifi settings and set the wifi to static and have set the netmask, DNS1 and DNS2.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
