I have downloaded a rom cm9 (ICS) from galaxyics.com. evrything seems to be good except the camera not working. waiting for the fix from them but the site is down for almost a week.. :( if u ppl find any other rom with all features working and in ICS themed style pls share. i want ICS and perfomance

Its now called MaclawStudios!
Downloads on maclaw.pl
Camera is working now.
Actual rom is cm9 beta10. Switching to RC on next release of cm9.

Also a cm10 rom is available for testing cm10 beta1
 
I tried CM9 beta 9 a few weeks ago. I was quite impressed with the look of it (It felt like I had a new phone) but for me felt it wasn't stable enough for everyday use & I ended up going back cm7. I may try out RC when it gets released!!

Rc1 is out
 
tried RC1 and came back to official CM7.2 itself...

camera -- worst (needs alot to be worked on that)
tethering not working
and few more bugs

RC1 advantage is it is smoother and battery life is extended and that too works for some only...

Camera - preview is working, you can take photos and can use some 3rd party cam apps.

Tethering - works with 3rd party apps
 
for everything if i need to download and use a third party app.. what is the rom doing??? i am not saying its the wawaste raom.. Maclaw is working hard for us.. just requires some time to solve all the problems and that time can go and start using the ICS rom :)
 
just installed this, everything seams to be working fine accept for GPS.

camera video recording not possible
stock wifi tether not possible
FM radio by 3rd party app

these 3 can be adjusted.. only problem is its taking a lot of internal memory and its the main drawback for our ACE.
I am using sperience rom which can be used by partitioning the sd card and use as internal memory

i am using this rom from yesterday and only problem i have is the wifi tethering.

can you suggest me a good wifi tethering app as i need to use tethering.

i didn't find much problem with the internal memory as most of the apps got easily moved to the sd card using a simple app2sd app.
