Root Gallery and Hidden folders

This just started happening when I went to GB 588 rooted.
A folder that "was" hidden from Gallery with the "." trick, is no longer hidden.
Anyone else run into this?

I think you can also just create a file called .nomedia in any folder you want the system to bypass.

Yep, I have used that trick in the past as well. Now I just use photovault because I'm lazy.
