Lurker
I have an sgs I9000 whit froyo 2.2.1 on it and in the gallery app i have 2 stacks of identical 25 nature hd photos that are not mine (cammed with the phone) and they have a synchronize symbol on them and when i select any of the 2 stacks the option delete does not come up. I can only share them.
I want to delete them or to desynchronize them because at the begging when i first looked at them they where blurry only after i got internet connection on they where clear because they where downloaded from the net.
There has to be a way to get rid of them a specially because the 2 stacks are identical 25 photos.

Welcome to the forums, nulador.

You may be able to remove one set of those pics if they are in one of the folders in your SD card. The easiest and quickest method is to attach your device to your computer via USB cable and view the files there.

Explore the folders for the pics you don't want. Some may be in "backgrounds," placed there when they were originally downloaded. But look around.

Drivers for your Galaxy S device must be installed in your computer, and the "USB debugging" selection must be made in menu > settings > applications > development on your device.

Hmm could not seem to find them anywhere.... i saw other I9000 but they did not have these 2 identical 25 photo stacks. and mine is bought new out of the box from vodafone i did not install a custom rom...

Something they packaged? I have never seen this folder or these images before. They don't come in the East Asia version.

The gallery might be scanning another directory. Maybe you can mount the phone to your computer and search for images ( .jpg?) and see if it is hiding in another folder. That might even tell you what app is downloading or creating these. Then you can root your phone and delete the system app that's doing it.
