Help Gallery no "sort by date"??

I transferred all my videos and pictures from my Epic 4G to my GS3. Now when I go to gallery, I have all my videos first and then my pictures. Anyway to sort them by date?

The group by feature is kind of useless...

Sorting by time should do what you want.

I just found out why it looks messed up to me. When I transfer the files from my old phone to my GS3, the "Date Created" changes to today...

Would anyone know how to keep that old information??

I tried hard to figure out why the "date created" changes to todays date when xfering over photos. it has something to do with the software samsung has for when you connect your pc to your s3.

I couldnt figure out how to keep the old info, but this is my fix. On my pc i arranged all the files by date and then I renamed them 1-900. now that they are on my phone and in my camera folder, I have them ordered by file name and bingo. all the new pictures I take are a much higher number than 900 so it all works great.

Since this is a gallery thread, I thought I'd ask my question here. I'm coming from a Dinc2 and absolutely LOVE HTC's Photo Album widget (the one where you can swipe up and down through your pics.) Is there a widget like this for the S3 or is there an app that does this? I'm really going to miss it.
