Help Gallery Picture grouping

Does anybody really want to see their gallery separated by which day the photo was taken?
On my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge there is no way to show them as one big group or even grouped by year or month.
Separated by date means i get to scroll though a gazillion pages to find what i want

Hi, this may be another one of those differences between devices, but on my HTC M9 every image, whether it be camera shot, screenshot, downloaded image etc., has an 'Edit date' option which allows the creation of my own timeline for any group of images in any/all albums so it is possible to display my photos/images in any order of my choice.



If there is an original date/time for the image this is not affected.

Connecting the device to a computer and sorting the photos by date is likely the best way to take the batch of photos taken on your trip and transferring everything to your desktop or Web based client for backup. Find the range of photos taken at the start and end of the trip to transfer.

What i am complaining about is
If I take one pic day for a year all 365 are separated into their own group and you have to scroll through a hundred screens to find a pic. Would be nice to have option of NO grouping
