Gallery Widget

I just switched from the Incredible to the Droid X.

The Incredible had a nice Gallery Widget where it showed the most recent picture and if I clicked on that, it took me to a screen where I could scroll through all pics.

I need something similar on my Droid X. The built in ones there stink.

Anyone have any ideas?

Not useful advice (and for what its worth, having recently rooted my Desire to a vanilla android version, I've finding the resulting freedom to customize and LauncherPro very refreshing after Sense).

Something more constructive... there are a couple of apps that show pictures from folders in your phone e.g. the camera folder, an example is this app (pay-app unfortunately). It is slightly different from what you wanted in that it display random pics rather than the last pic.

If there is a free-app that does just that then I'm not aware of it (which is not saying much)

If you'd bothered to read the thread before jumping in with the abuse, you would realise I wasn't actually asking the question - I'm not the OP. Just pointing out that the chap with the attitude wasn't helping. Perhaps you should apologise to the OP.

Anyway, I shant bother posting in this thead anymore as it's obvious I'm making things worse. Slightly disappointed though how unhelpful people are being to the OP.

Doesn't the Droid X come with one that does what you want?

Photo Slideshow?
Not really. It's just a slideshow in the widget.

I'd like something where if I click the widget then I can flick though the pictures one by one, preferably only within a specified folder too.
