I introduced myself very briefly earlier, where I said for the past 12 months I've been developing a game with a friend. I'm posting this thread to talk about that!
We go under the name of Force Of Habit and it's our very first commercial game.
The game is called Toast Time, and there were way too many punny slogans/taglines to pick just one!
We've uploaded a trailer!
It's a kind-of surreal single-screen shooter where you play as a toaster (named TERRY - toast-ejecting recoil & reload system) who fires bread to propel itself around while defending an alarm clock from inter-dimensional beings. Does that sound crazy? It is a little bit. It's a homage to many of the British homebrew games in the 80s, but is made modern with intuitive touch control stuffs. There are 16 weapons, many of which are bread-themed... Think bagels, baguettes, crumpets, doughballs, croutons, etc. There are also around 50 items you can use to customise the toaster.
Everything inside the game is completely free (no IAPs!), but we've set an initial upfront cost of
