Yeah so I got my droid x 2 days ago, which was the day that the ROM grippers "disappeared". That was probably the 1st thing that made me start wanting an android phone...obviously I gained new knowledge and new reasons to go with it but I still really wanted to play some GBA games on my phone...the idea of that is just awesome.
So, it turns out that you don't have to have a "rom gripper" to use the games, you just have to have the bios file.
This is the easiest way to do it, in my opinion.
On Computer:
1. Go to Dropbox.com and download it from the bottom of the page. Creat a user name and password.
2. Go to gba_bios.bin and click "click here to start download from MediaFire".
4. Move the file to your desktop.
3. There will be a file called "Dropbox" on your desktop, click on it and then open the "public" file.
4. Drag or copy/paste the file you just downloaded from Media Fire to the "public" folder in "Dropbox".
On phone:
1. Download the drop box app.
2. Download the Gameboid App
3. Open the drop box app and login with the username and password you made earlier.
4. You should see the file "gba_bios.bin". Download it to your sd card(or phone, doesn't matter).
5. Either download a game from the market on your phone, or ,on your computer, go to a site and download roms(games) from there and drag them into the "Public" file in "Dropbox".
Let me know if you have any problems/suggestions.
