Gamepad not working

Can not get PS3 controller to connect with my Samsung Rugby LTE. From What I have read should be able to connect wired without rooting your phone. Have tried two different controllers but nothing seems to work.

Am I missing something or does my phone maybe not support?

Pretty sure that you need OTG USB support.

Check out "USB Host Diagnostics" to see if your device supports OTG USB - and you will need an OTG USB cable -

Root isn't required for the app, but if you have root and it's not working, the app will try to help more.

Did you test with a USB stick as suggested?

When you scrolled down did it detect and tell you if your Android api and kernel supported it?

android api and kernel both said it did support it but did not detect it

So that part is good, part of your first question answered.

I'm not anywhere near close to knowing all about this but I've only heard of it being done with a rooted phone and something like "Sixaxis Controller"
