Games for 10 year old boy

Cut the rope, MineCraft Pocket Edition as it's about building things and is awesome, Where's my water, Fruit Ninja. All good games IMO, and I'm sure he'd like them too. :)

Personally, I'd give the kid:

Cut the Rope
Unblock Me
Where's My Perry
Flow
One Touch Drawing
World of Goo

Some of these may cost a bit, but one thing is that they all are puzzle games which makes the player THINK, and its the most important thing for games at that age level.

Not sure if the words would be too difficult, but could try 'Soccer Bee' in play store, it's a word game with a soccer theme.

Subway Surfer seems to be big with kids.
So does Temple Run.
And Fruit Ninja.

But to carry on with the theme of THINKING...
Angry Birds
Spaghetti Marshmallows
Space Physics
Rush Hour
Labyrinth
LOLlibs

I played a lot of platformers at that age (and still do). If you get a controller you can buy him the Cordy series and Sonic 4. There's also Rayman Jungle Run.

Apart from that, there's Riptide GP, the Burger games (free) Super Monkey Ball 2: SE, Krazy Kart Racing, Puzzle Family (free), Chocohero (free), etc.

HomerunBattle3D
Age of Zombies
Bouncy Mouse
Evac HD
Jetpack Joyride
MiniSquadron
Muffin Knight
Peggle
PETI
Roll in the Hole
Shoot the Apple
Funky Smugglers
Spirit
Super Stickman Golf
Toki Tori

Wow!
You guys really hooked me up.
Thank you.

Special thanks to Italo for "Bouncy Mouse".
Very nice of you to share.

If he likes puzzles games, he could boost his vocabulary over the summer break and have fun beating his (and your) best times by playing Word Search Perfected. It's free, so give it a go.

I developed Word Search Perfected for my own kids (5 & 8). They enjoy it more than other similar apps. One key improvement is that there are different difficulty levels. The number of directions in which words are placed and the size of the vocabulary increase across the difficulty levels, so puzzles can be tailored to suit every ability. I even spent hours weeding out all the swear words from the 75,000-word dictionary, so parents don't have to deal with questions like, "What does ****** mean, Daddy?" My daughter and I like to play a puzzle together and see who's the quickest to find each word. We can also click on an unfamiliar word to look it up in a dictionary and find out what it means.

You can get Word Search Perfected from Google Play, Samsung Apps, Amazon Appstore, SlideME, and several other places.

Plants vs Zombies was a really fun game. I played it as a Chrome Web App, but still, even on the computer, its a lot of fun.

You should try ARROW PATH. It is a simple and relaxing zen puzzle. We just released it today, i am pretty sure your boy and you will like it ;-)
