games you wish were made for android

Fieldrunners +1. I've been waiting for a good port or something similar. Robo Defense is close but is not nearly as polished. In fact robo defense feels like a cheap imitation compared to fieldrunners.

Pac Man CE would be nice also.
Lets Golf
Minigore

Fantastic Contraption.

Check it out, it's a free flash game, although there is a paid version. It's been ported on the iPhone, so my guess is that it'll hit Android devices when Flash becomes available.

Here are a few I would like to see:
Crazy Daisy
Bookworm
Had these on my Palm Treo and the graphics were awesome. Wish the Hero had better graphics for games, some are really puny

I am still waiting on my hero but one thing i really wish for it to have is a simialr game to the iphones Air Traffic control. Where you direct the planes and choppers to land
That game amuses me for ages

A good Kakuro game would be nice. Also a Japanese Crossword (not sure if that's the best name) - LogicPic is a modest attempt but not great.

Other than that, well there are quite a few iPhone games I'd like, although they generally suffer from style over substance (on Apple, what a shock!). Take Doodle Jump for example, it's now on Android too but it's just ... jumping. Over and over. The more engaging ones that combine high production values with interesting gameplay like Enigmo I would like.

There are ATC games, Flight Director and Air Control come to mind. The Mechanics is a decent Lemmings clone but I find the controls too fiddly in that type of game, trying to select the correct Lemm .. sorry, Mechanic and such like on the small screen.

Doodle Jump is amazing. Very addictive, though I refuse to play $4 as opposed to $1 on iPhones.

Dont know if this has been posted yet....but Bloons tower defense games would be nice.....Actually all of the ninjakiwi games would be nice

I've wasted more hours on Empire Deluxe for Windows than on any other activity. Now that I have Windows 7 on my computer I can't play it any more! Someone please help me by putting it on my Droid!

I still play ED on my aging Win/XP laptop. It's an old fasioned turn-based game, sort of like the old Civilization, but all about exploring and conquering the world (so nothing civilized about it!). ED generates a new map for every game so was/is endlessly playable. I'd love to see it on my Droid.

I'd like to see a text based mmo similar to world war or those mafia games, but without the "pay for advantage" aspect. I'd be willing to pay a onetime fee or even pay for content to support the devs since mmorpgs need money to support them. Paying for extra resources and whoring friends codes takes the fun out of the game.

Also I'd like to see a good roguelike, and a civilization game. someone could even port freeciv, I'd be happy with that. Oh and puzzlequest would kick ass. Or just PQ2. But my main want is an mmo without the bs of waiting for turns, paying for resources, or friends codes. Not something in 3d, something text based would suit the platform well. Oh well, here's to hoping!

aren't there a plethora of that kind of games that are browser based? i know a friend of mine plays something called dominion (or somethingrather), which by what i've seen should work fine on any mobile browser - not sure if it has the rpg element at all, but that's just an example

Civilication (any number will do). Alpha Centaur, M.U.L.E. , Elite, Zelda (any GBA-DS version adapted to android), Advance Wars, Final fantasy 1-7 adapted to android. Syndicate, GTA1 & 2, Lucasarts adventures (official versions), HOMM.
There are few of my favorites. Most of these would work great on android and i am suprised i have not seen even clones of these games. I would like to see developers to take these on, clone them and improve some. It does not always have to be so original. These are games people want.

as much as i love the first two gta's, i can't see how they could work on a touchscreen phone - you'd need a good hardware button layout to get any proper controls
